In today's world of contamination, it is our goal to make our products as green as possible. We strive to find the finest ingredients to insure a healthier product. Our goal is to produce products that are preservative free. When we think of all the chemicals we have put on our bodies for decades, assuming they were safe and just recently finding their true effects, it is alarming to believe that with all the knowledge we have, we continue to use chemically treated products. We can use natural products without a problem if we realize that some must be refrigerated or used with in a specified time to prohibit bacterial growth, a small price to pay for a safer product in the long run. How many of us have, health and beauty products that have been around our homes for years, and we use them, well just think of what it takes to make that product stable for that long, think about how long that product has been on a shelf, how long it sat in a warehouse waiting to be delivered. HMMMMM, not a pretty thought.
Recent studies have shown that we may actually acquire more toxins through skin absorption and inhalation than through the food that we eat. Our skin is the largest organ of our bodies and it's quick to absorb anything that touches it. When you rub chemicals on your skin, they can pass straight through and enter your bloodstream within minutes. If you are the type of person who consumes natural foods and avoids foods with preservatives, then you should also apply this practice to your body care routine. Our products are people, earth, animal and environment safe. Most products are 100% natural and we make them in small batches to ensure quality and freshness. We use vitamin E as a natural preservative and our products do not have mineral oil or petroleum, no harsh detergents, no drying alcohol, no formaldehydes or lanolin (highly allergenic) and are sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS)
& sodium laureth sulfate (SLES) free.
We are constantly researching and working on ingredients to deliver the greenest products possible. We continue to keep our pricing reasonable, with the average consumer in mind, you don't have to spend a fortune to get a quality natural product.

Why A Dragonfly????

A little history of Springbrook Soap Co., I have been making natural soap and body products for about 10 years now, many hours have been spent perfecting recipes and working on the art of soy and palm wax candles and of course labels.

Here's back ground of why the Dragonfly is on our label.

Yes, it goes back to those simple days, as a child, living in Wisconsin on the Namekegan River. I was about 10 years old, when I was laying on the old rickety dock by the river, with an old cast iron pot and some bread crumbs catching minnows so my sister and I could fish. We noticed a really ugly bug crawl up the post on the dock and just stick there, well the curious 2 we were, we sat and watched, we could see this thing emerging from the nasty looking bug, first a wing then another and out popped this absolutely beautiful green iridescent dragonfly, it sat there for awhile, as if it were telling us to look, I think at that moment, I received one of the greatest gifts from the universe, (a miracle?), that one dragonfly taught me to look for the beauty in everything. I've been told many times to stop "looking through my rose colored glasses". Well, I'm glad I wear those glasses, the world looks so beautiful. Everybody should have a pair.

About 3 years ago I met Wayne Dyer, one of my favorite authors, I explained the Dragonfly story to him and asked "what do you think it means", his reply was "oh, a miracle". I must admit I expected something more profound from him but, I get it now.

I toyed with the idea of a dragonfly on our labels for years, I recieved a phone call from a customer and she asked if I did natural Baby products, one of the Doctors in her practice were having a baby and she really wanted it to be special, I do a lot of custom labeling for my customers. My thoughts immediately went back to Wayne Dyer, a miracle, a baby, a dragon Fly. I enjoyed doing that basket above anything else I have ever done.

About a year after I did that basket, I found out the paper I used for my labels was no longer available, so the universe took care of the label dilemma for me. No doubt what it was going to be. The infamous Dragonfly. It's amazing how when you think you have something original and along comes someone, to take your ideas change them a bit and call it their own. A metamorphosis, in life I might add, lessons we learn from sharing our ideas with others, and making changes in our lives to accommodate a welcome from the universe.

That's interesting in it's self, imagine that under one roof, huge....Feed back only comes from paypal or google check out, unlike Ebay where everything gets a feed back rating. When sales come from check, money order, pick up, or your credit card company, there is no way the public can see that. Sales are soring there, with new stores opening everyday. In The Eyes Of An Angel

First and for most never take anything for granted. Sunday night yeah the night of the superbowl was one that we will never forget. Someone very close to us had an rush with death. He had taken a night out on his snowmobile and fallen through the ice. Its was about 10:30 when I had gotten a call from a number I had never regonized. My heart dropped I knew what had happen rite when I picked up that phone. Thank God he was okay. A little shaken up but still breathing. Thanks to the wonderful people that had helped him out of the water and got him a dry pair of clothes. Without that i'm not sure if he would still be here. He had told me after swimming for so long and trying to stay a float he had felt the ground beneath him. "Yes I said, that was your angels helping you up and out of that water." So where am I going with this....NEVER TAKE ANYTHING FOR GRANTED. ALWAYS LOVE THE ONES THAT LOVE YOU AND HAVE FAITH.

Ebay and Primitives!!!

As you all know we have been very successfull with our ebay sales. We have added some new additions to our company. There is now a craft line, soy line, and body line. These different lines are inspired by my myself and my daughters, Amanda and Amber. We soon hope to have our ebay store up and running. I will keep you posted!!!

January was a very busy month for us, we worked really hard to get familar with ebay and we've got it down. We've done many items threw ebay this month and have had great success.
