Free Recipe for Natural Hand Sanitizer

With the cold and flu season just around the corner, we are constantly washing our hands. Of course this is not always possible, so needless to say we catch that dreaded cold or flu. Making hand sanitizer is not only easy but you should be able to find all the ingredients in your local grocery market or liquor store.

Ingredients:

10 oz food grade alcohol (better know as Vodka or grain alcohol make sure it is 190 proof)
DO NOT USE ISOPROPYL ALCOHOL (better known as rubbing alcohol)
2.5 to 5 oz of distilled water
10 to 20 drops of essential oil (tea tree is great for dry chapped skin) you may use your favorite.
You can add a lemon peel or some lavender buds if you wish it will scent this mixture nicely.

Combine food grade alcohol and distilled water in clean sanitized bottle add essential oil and, or lemon peel or lavender buds, cap, shake and use as a hand sanitizer. Folks it might be tempting to to take a swig here and there, but I must remind you that unless you use an edible essential oil, I wouldn't recommend it.

Have fun with this one, it's easy, natural, effective and best of all you will know exactly what is in it!!!
